Simple plaster forms will be used to create bowls and trays, textured with our own hand-made stamps. We will also create cylindrical shapes including cups, bottles and fun flasks. Students will have the opportunity to create a pinch-pot sculptural sphere/rattle and possibly a coil-built pot, depending on timing. All objects created can be decorated using carving, sgraffito and slip inlay techniques that will be taught during the session. Glazing and firing information will also be discussed.
