Celebrate community and creativity this Valentine’s week! Join local artist Emma Friedland for a hands-on “sew and sip” workshop on February 11th from 5–7 PM at the Depot Art Center. Learn how to transform damaged clothing into unique, functional works of art using simple mending techniques. Bring an article of clothing or two made from denim, cotton, or linen, and we will provide the rest. Emma with demonstrate and provide individual instruction throughout the workshop.
Enjoy wine and beer as you mend, sip, and connect with others in a relaxing and creative atmosphere. This workshop is the perfect way to explore sustainability, celebrate friendships, and give new life to your favorite clothes. Beverages are not included in registration.
