THE VALLEY VOICE: Born April 1st, 2012, in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, the Valley Voicemagazine is the sweet, sweet love child of Paulie Anderson and Matt Scharf. Like most Grassroots enterprises, the Voice was born out of hard work, a heaping cup of creativity, and a dash of nefarious funds probably garnered by illegal animal trafficking North of the Canadian Border. Either that, or Anderson and Scharf had the backing of their community to help grow Steamboat’s finest alternative media source into a 7,000-copy strong paper. With the continued support of Routt County, the Valley Voice will continue to be a go-to source of information and entertainment for the people who live here, and those who wish they did.
