Practice Space Scholarship

About the Scholarship

Performance is an art and a language that connects people across cultures, backgrounds, generations, and beliefs. Steamboat Creates with the help of local band, Heads All Empty, has set up a fund to provide Rehearsal Space Scholarships for facility use at the historic Depot Art Center. The heart of this fund is to provide a platform for emerging musicians and bands to connect and practice so they can share their music and earn a living from the passionate pursuit of their art form. Scholarships are open to all Northwest Colorado musicians and industry workers who want to rehearse, create, connect, collaborate, and level up.

Criteria

The scholarship supports performing artists or groups who are passionate about and dedicated to their art. Steamboat Creates requires a completed application, including work samples, to be reviewed and approved. Criteria for approval include a statement of commitment, artistic merit, need, and content. A facility contract and refundable security deposit will be required for all performing artists or groups that qualify for the scholarship.
