The kaleidoscopic landscapes of Lance Whitner’s Rocky Mountain home inspire her paintings.
Saturated colors and random patterns combine on her canvas to reflect natures wild abandon.
Each of her paintings is imbued with heart and a unique visual vocabulary all her own.
Born in North Carolina, Lance traveled west to earn a BFA from the University of Colorado,
Boulder. She now lives in a purple house in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and works in a 100
year old barn turned studio in the backyard.
