HISTORY

In the Heart of Steamboat lies a vibrant arts community where once a year we gather to create a musical revue that benefits Steamboat Creates. We call it Cabaret!

The cast of talented actors and musicians help write, organize and act in a collection of skits, songs and dances. We, good-heartedly, make fun of local events and issues, including local government, ski season shenanigans, western migration, plowing woes, and who knows. Poking fun at life in this laid back, relaxed mountain town has never been so fun. Cabaret is a community tradition, a live, comedic, never politically correct performance showcasing our town’s local talent.

Cabaret benefits Steamboat Creates so we can nurture the arts in town with children’s arts educational programs, collaborations, public art, exhibitions, ArtWalks, and much more. Cabaret is one of Steamboat Creates biggest fundraisers, and it is now in its 42nd year.
