Andrea Abrahamson
Andrea Abrahamson has called Routt County home since 1996 and draws deep inspiration from the natural beauty that surrounds her. The colors, shapes, and movement found in the landscape play a significant role in shaping her artistic practice. Her travels and experiences in different places continue to influence the work she creates.
Working primarily in mixed media, Andrea also has a strong passion for acrylic and oil painting, drawn to the flow and texture these mediums provide. She enjoys experimenting with different materials, always curious about the unexpected results that emerge from combining them.
Andrea studied oil painting under Patricia Branstead, while her exploration of other mediums has been largely self-taught, reflecting her adventurous and experimental approach to art.
